This research was supervised by Mr. Dr. Bahrani, M.Pd as the first advisor and Mrs. Dra. Sitti Hadijah, M.Pd as the second advisor.
One of the goals of learning subjects at School is to achieve academic or learning achievement. In gaining the successful of learning achievement, in this case, when learning English, beside obtaining education in formal institutions, students can also get it in non-formal institutions, which one of it is the English course at Kampung Inggris Pare. The objective of this research was to find out whether there is a significant differences of students’ English Achievement between taking and without taking English course of Kampung Inggris Pare at MTs Labbaika Samarinda.
The design used in this research was a comparative descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population of this research was 555 students of MTs Labbaika Samarinda and the sample was 34 students of ninth grade. The data collection  techniques  were  carried  out  by  using  test  and  documentation.  To analyze the data, the researcher used independent sample t-test.
The result of this research showed that Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.002 < 0.05. It was also obtained the t-test = 3.446 with df = 32, on level significance 5%, according to t-table value show = 2.036. Then, the t-test is more than t-table (3.446 > 2.036). So it was decided that H₀ was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there was a significant differences of students’ English Achievement between taking and without taking English course of Kampung Inggris Pare at MTs Labbaika Samarinda.</note>
