This reaserch is under guidance of Rostanti Toba, M.Pd as advisor 1 and Dra. Sitti Hadijah, M.Pd as advisor 2. Learning and teaching materials are essential for educational development and quality upgrading, and textbooks are one of the most important inputs. Teachers must understand the development of young students, have specific skills to select and apply interesting teaching techniques, and generate student learning motivation to help them achieve pre-planned learning goals. The objective are intended to know instructional material, techniques, and media in teaching English at the fourth grade of MI aAt-Taqwa Samarinda. This research is a qualitative research . The subject was English teacher at the fourth grade of MI At-Taqwa Samrinda. The analysis of data is descriptive qualitative. The researcher used interview guide, observation sheet, and documentation as the instruments of research. The result of this study is that teacher used student worksheet duing the English teaching process. Techniques in teaching English in class IV MI At-Taqwa Samarinda: listen and repeat, listen an do, Total Physical Response(TPR), question and answer, and demonstration. Teacher only used white board and pictures in the teaching English as instructional media.
