Language is a major part of human existence in this world. Individuals   can   collaborate   with   others   through   language. Language is an asset for individual life.  Language can be used if individuals see each other or understand how it relates to the use of language assets that we have. The purpose of this research was to find  out  the  teacher's  strategy  of  asking  questions  in  teaching English at MTs.. Al-Misra for the 2019/2020 school year.
The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at MTs. Al-Misra Samarinda which is located at Jl. Emboen Suryana. The subject of this research was a English teacher at MTs. Al-Misra Samarinda. The data analysis in this study can be divided into three stages;  namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusions.
Based on the results of research during the teaching and learning  process,  researchers  observed  the  course  of  activities during the learning process of teachers and students in class.  Some students  paid  attention  when  the  teacher  explained  and  some students did not pay attention;  playing as the teacher explained.  To overcome learning difficulties in class VIII, teachers must be able to create an atmosphere in teaching and learning activities.  It can be concluded that the teacher's problem in overcoming the difficulties of learning English in grade VIII is that what the teacher does in the teaching and learning process is very influential in improving and achieving  student  success,  and  the  teacher  as  a  unit.     The determining factor in any educational effort must be self-motivation to carry out its duties and responsibilities as a professional teacher.</note>
